Nuclear Science Symposium & Medical Imaging Conference (NSS-MIC) is one of the world’s leading multidisciplinary conferences focused on advancements in the fields of nuclear science, radiation detection, software engineering, data acquisition and medical imaging applications. Virtual 2021 IEEE NSS MIC will be held in Yokohama, Japan, on October 16–23, 2021. NDL showed the latest SiPMs and related products at booth A3.
NDL released new products of EQR15, EQR06 series SiPM. EQR15 features 15 μm microcell pitch, peak PDE of about 45% at 420 nm, gain of 4×105, low dark count rate, small temperature coefficient of breakdown voltage. EQR06 delivers extremely high cell density of 277,777 /mm2, offering ultra-wide dynamic range, ideal for high photon flux applications.
2019 IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium & Medical Imaging Conference (2019 NSS MIC) was held in Manchester, UK, from October 26 to November 2, 2019. NDL attended the exhibition and presented the newly developed SiPM devices and MPUD (Multi-Pixel Unit Detector). New progress was also reported in the oral presentation.

NDL present a one-dimensional (1D) single-photon position-sensitive silicon photomultiplier (PS-SiPM) and its application in Raman spectroscopy for carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) for the first time. The device, featuring two cathodes on top and one anode at the bottom, takes advantages of both photon number and position discrimination, and combines the merits of both CCD (rapid measurement) and PMT (high gain, fast photon response, and simple readout electronics).

Photonics China Expo is the only photonics industry and cross-application technology services Exhibition Fair. Organizers are Chinese Society for Optical Engineering and China High-tech Industrialization Association. The 9th Exhibition was held on June 6th–8th, 2017, at Chinese International Exhibition Center (New Pavilion) in Beijing Shunyi District. NDL attended the exhibition and presented the latest products.
China Med is one of the most influential exhibitions in medical instruments and equipment industry. The 29th International Medical Instrument and Equipment Exhibition (CHINA MED 2017) was held at China National Convention Center on March 24–26, 2017. NDL and its cooperation partner attended the exhibition and presented epitaxial quenching resistor type SiPMs, which have wide dynamic range, high detection efficiency, fast response, cost-effective.
2D tetra-lateral position sensitive silicon photomultiplier (SiPM), featuring epitaxial quenching resistors and an intrinsic continuous cap resistive layer for charge division, has attractive advantages of less output electrodes and simple readout electronics, high position resolution, discrimination of photon number, compatible to regular SiPM with epitaxial quenching resistors, and simple fabrication technology. NDL presented a distortion correction algorithm to alleviate the “barrel” position distortion problem.
